     A motorized bike can be a very safe, economical and fun way to get around. If maintained properly a motorized bicycle can be very dependable. If you do not regularly check things and keep stuff tightened up you're headed for trouble!

     The thing I'm trying to drive home here is that these bikes are not like a car that you buy new, and then drive for the next 3000 miles, before you change the oil. The motor on your bike is operating between 6000 and 10000 rpms. (revolutions per minute). Even though you can not feel it, there is a constant vibration going throughout you bike. In addition, not many bicycles are designed to run 25 to 30 mph. down the road all day long.
